John Tyson – Drums. John played with bands in the north London area way back. Many famous players like John Crocker, Mike Cotton, etc. played with him, or he played with them who’s on drums? Is it that John Tyler, He has been “round the block” though. He has played with members of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and nearly did a tour with Oscar Peterson. He is the typical ‘nearly’ man, Best known for ‘flashing’ his drumsticks. He has travelled the world as head of his own engineering insurance company; always takes a pair of drumsticks and has “sat in” with bands all over the globe.
