Band Info
Alan Gresty – Cornet, Trumpet. Played lead trumpet for many years with the Monty Sunshine’s band. In 1984 with Brian White formed a band to pay tribute to Muggsy Spanier and Bob Crosby Bobcats. Signed by the New Orleans based record company Jazzolgy. This led to many trips to play Californian jazz festivals – Sacramento, Los Angeles, Costa Messa, Palm Springs and San Francisco. European festivals including Nice (France), Tougau (Germany, St.Helier (Jersey), Haugesund (Norway), Upton and Swanage (UK) – a truly international band.
