Band Info

Rod Brown is a freelance drummer and has been part of the UK and European jazz scene for decades. He works with many bands, currently including with Sarah Spencer, Andy Dickens and TJ Johnson.
He has performed in pit bands in West End shows, Pantomime, TV and recording sessions, specializing in Latin percussion and has toured with the Herb Miller Orchestra.
He is a pupil of Phil Seaman, a legend of the UK jazz and dance band scene from the 1930's to 1970's. He has many influences but some are Jo Jones, Paul Barbarin and Cie Frazier.
