Band Info
‘Gentleman’ Jim McIntosh – Banjo – ‘Gentleman’ Jim was originally a trombone player from Saffron Walden, Essex. He deputised for Max Collie on trombone playing with the Max Collie Rhythm Aces in the 1970’s, he decided he liked the band and shortly afterwards joined the band playing banjo, where he spent many years before joining the Phil Mason’s New Orleans All Stars, leaving them in 2007 to form his own band the ‘Jazzaholics Anonymous’. He also does a mind-boggling act with a mini harmonica, in his mouth.
