Band Info

Mike Duckworth – Trombone and band leader of the Lord Napier Jazz Band. Mike first started to play trombone whilst serving with the British Army in Australia. After his demob in 1961 he joined a jazz band in England and has been playing regularly ever since. He spent 25 years with the Epson and Ewell Silver Band. He currently plays with five different bands including the Portobello Jazz Band.
